Happy New Year 2025!

Dec 30, 2024 | Leadership, Mindset

This morning, I woke up to a delightful email from an executive in the biotech industry, David DeOrnellis, Senior Director of Operations at In vivo, Post-life, and Training. I had the pleasure of working with David as a coach when he was with another organization. Here is an excerpt of what he wrote to me, “I remember quite a few light bulbs in our conversations, just from a comment you made or question you asked or a pause (maybe the most powerful of the three).”

I agree with him — the pause is powerful. Before 2025 is in full swing, I encourage you to pause. Stop. Breathe. Notice.

What are you feeling? What from this past year brought you joy? What would you like to repeat, avoid, or adjust in the year ahead?

There’s strength in stillness. Take five minutes to simply be.

May you be well. May you be happy. May there be peace.
